The idea to have Berlin as the first destination on our trip around the world developed quite randomly...it was during a grey evening around Christmas in Leipzig. I met my old friend Jesus aka ChristUK and his girlfriend in a pub in Leipzig for some long desired cider and great conversations. They mentioned that they will be in Australia sometime in spring 2013 and that their Berlin flat will be empty for a month or so....3 months later we started our trip around the world with Berlin as our first destination!

We were amazed and felt so blessed when we arrived after an 8 hour drive in Berlin. The flat is situated in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg just across Mauerpark . We can see the Berliner Fernsehturm from our living room -  it seems to be within our grasps.

We feel so welcome with fresh towels and shower gel ready for us ;)   Thanks a million Christian & Rebecca for making this possible! We cannot believe how lucky we are!
